THE NBRC TEAM:
National Bowling & Recreation Centres (NBRC) was established in 2013 to provide advisory, project management, and integrated technology services to the Leisure and Entertainment industry.
NBRC supports clients operating within the out-of-home entertainment sector, including major Australian and international organisations, by delivering independent expertise across planning, design coordination, technology integration, and project delivery.
With extensive industry experience, the NBRC team works alongside owners, developers, and operators to assist in the successful inclusion of bowling and other leisure attractions within venues, focusing on strategic planning, operational suitability, and long-term commercial outcomes.
NBRC is headed by Roy Menachemson (Managing Director)
Roy is a 30 year veteran of the Tenpin Bowling Industry pioneered this form of Leisure in South Africa - his birthplace. Established a national chain of 11 Centres in South Africa
Betty Dyas (Chief Development officer)
Betty has worked together with Roy for some 16 years and has delivered for large conglomerates significant Leisure Projects during this time. Betty manages all of NBRC’s projects and is the liason point between Contractors and Consultants on each job.
Adele Boustany (Head of IT)
Adele has been a long serving part of the NBRC story. She is retained by the Company on a consultancy basis and was primarily responsible for the integration of all IT services required for the Company’s AttracTivity project. She has strong IT experience in regard to telephony, LAN & wifi networks, computer software and in particular the integration of the various technology systems associated with multiple attractions and how each communicate with one another. She is an amazing troubleshooter and has saved the Company what would otherwise have been lengthy downtime through her knowledge of alternate back-up integration.
Sharyn Davies (Head of Marketing)
Sharyn works for the Company in a part time capacity and is seconded to the client in the event of the client requiring specialised skills as they relate to the Leisure Industry. An expert in Social Media marketing Sharyn is without peer. Her knowledge in regard to this space is quite unique.
Julia Velvick (Head Designer)
Julia too has worked alongside Roy for over a decade during which time she has received many design awards for her creative and innovative designs particularly in the Leisure Space. She has strong interpersonal skills which allows her to interpret the vision of the client without influence.
Winnie Ho (Financial Accountant)
Winnie has worked alongside Roy throughout his various roles within the different organisations as financial controller. Winnie brings to NBRC exemplary accounting skills, is well versed in all aspects of financial management and is responsible for all the personnel and tax matters for the business.
